The Mindset That Brings Chaos Into Focus

Who I Am
What I Do Best
I work in the space where content, systems, and technology overlap.
My strengths sit in:
- simplifying workflows
- building clear documentation and reusable templates
- creating interactive & innovative content
- designing content engines that scale
- improving martech and campaign operations
I tend to become the “can you take a look at this?” person.
If something is confusing or stuck, I usually end up mapping it, reorganizing it, or designing a better way for people to use it.
I like creating scalable solutions.
I like making things clean, usable, and stable.
I like when teams finally say, “Oh, this makes sense now.”
I work methodically at first, then ramp up very quickly once the pattern becomes clear. I ask questions, gather context, and make sure the foundation is solid before building anything on top of it.
I enjoy prototyping versions, making interactive elements, or using AI to try out variations quickly.
I try to be the person in the room who understands the details and can offer a clear path forward.
Leadership & Professional Involvement
I like being part of communities that care about growth and collaboration.
I go out of my way to seek groups that support and facilitate professional and personal community and connection.
- I was a core member of Kuraray’s women’s leadership team, developing, managing, and presenting at various events.
- I’ve been involved in digital transformation projects, especially around workflow and documentation.
- I stay active in technology focused communities like ACM, WIA, and IGDA, as well as LinkedIn and Reddit groups.
I enjoy mentoring and training, especially around tools and systems.
If someone is confused about a platform, I’m usually the one who sits with them until everything clicks.
A Bit More About Me
Outside of work, most of my projects involve making things.
I like projects that push my skills & knowledge: animation, creating materials & new techniques, special-effects experiments, anything that lets me test an idea and see what happens.
I also create characters and stories. I like the structure of world-building, the rules of magic systems, the logic of how fictional worlds work. It’s a different medium, but it uses the same part of my brain: noticing patterns, connecting ideas, and organizing complexity into something that feels alive.
I enjoy quiet hobbies. I enjoy deep dives. I enjoy learning niche skills for no reason other than they are interesting. These things keep me curious, and that curiosity always makes its way back into my work.
Academic Foundations
M.S. Technical Communication | University of Houston
I focused on interactive media, digital transformation, instructional design, and the communication side of complex systems.
I also participated in academic research and honors communities (Sigma Tau Delta), which shaped the way I think about clarity and usability.
B.A. Media Arts & Animation | Art Institute of Houston
I studied 2D/3D design, animation, and digital media pipelines.
Served as the president of the college honors society for 2 years.
I completed an internship with a makerspace serving underfunded schools, which gave me early experience explaining technical concepts in simple, practical ways.
